  • Themed issues, which will include both invited articles by noted experts and high-quality contributed articles. Topics will be selected for their clinical relevance. Articles may be commentaries, qualitative reviews, systematic reviews, or original research. Case reports will be spotlighted in the "Grand Rounds" feature.
  • Grand Rounds: each issue will present a case report with discussants from different disciplines commenting on their approach to case management.
  • Fast Facts, a feature presenting a variety of interesting tidbits of information, each with a citation. Readers may contribute to this section as well.

Submission of manuscripts

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically to Editor@tihcij.com. Details of submission requirements are provided in Instructions to Authors

Indexing and archiving

After publication, each article is indexed and archived in the Manual, Alternative and Natural Therapy Index System (MANTIS) and the Index to Chiropractic Literature (ICL). Once TIHC has met the criteria for inclusion in PubMed and CINAHL it will be submitted for review and inclusion.

Citing papers in TIHC

Because TIHC is an online rather than print journal, the articles have a unique article number instead of page numbers. TIHC, as an online journal, will identify each article with a publication date and issue number, along with a volume number that corresponds to a calendar year.
